Through a private link only available via her scavenger hunt emails (which I've linked above), Sabrina has just released a heartbreaking confessional song titled "Intro" (presumably because it's her first song on the fifth album) detailing her father's affair with another woman. The lyrics specifically mention "October 13 at 10:15," and given Sabrina's parents were married as of very recently, I assume this happened just in the past year. The song shares the raw emotions Sabrina has been experiencing about her father, and how she feels it has damaged her ability to love another person.
On a person note, I take back everything I said about "Skin." It's clear Sabrina has been going through a very hard time and it makes sense that she would lash out like that given the circumstance. That's not to say it was right for her to do so, but it makes a ton more sense now. My heart certainly goes out to Sabrina for what she's been going through and I hope that she's able to find support within her family, friends, and hopefully even her fans now that we know she's struggling. <3
